SB19 collaborated with a renowned music producer, August Rigo, to create their P-Pop-influenced cover of the classic Eraserheads song "Christmas Party."

The group is currently on tour out of the country, so they've sent a statement to Shai Lagarde of GMA Integrated News. The group said, "The Eraserheads is one of the most influential bands of our time. We retained everything great about the song but made sure to add our creative direction in terms of overall sound... We're happy with how it turned out."

And after their project, the music producer has nothing but praise for SB19.

While maintaining the original's festive and nostalgic vibes, this rendition also incorporates dance-pop, vintage hip-hop, and a little funk.

Stell, a member of SB19, said that recording in another country felt "surreal" while the band was on their WYAT world tour stop in Los Angeles.

The Filipino-Canadian musician is best known for his collaborations songs with Justin Bieber, among many others, including "U Smile" and "Black Swan" by BTS, in addition to SB19.

At their eagerly anticipated Huling El Bimbo reunion show, the Eraserheads also gave a "Christmas Party performance" and invited Gary V to join them.

More on SB19 and their WYAT World Tour

SB19, a Filipino boy band, will embark on their “Where You At” World Tour to support their single "WYAT". The tour launched on September 17, 2022, at the Araneta Coliseum after its announcement in September 2022. Tour dates for the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East have been added.

And after their successful stint, SB19 is set to end their 'Where You At?' (WYAT) world tour in a homecoming concert at the Big Dome this coming Sunday. The award-winning Pinoy pop group said they would have a world tour again.

'This is where we will end our WYAT journey,' said Josh.
